  • Dry January means going alcohol free for the whole month of January and see how 31 days without alcohol benefits you. 
  • Change4Life is a campaign run by the NHS, encouraging families to eat well and exercise more. 
  • Time to Talk Day is the nations biggest mental health conversation. It happens every February to encourage communities to talk, listen and change lives.
  • Every Breath is a campaign run by Fresh to raise awareness that smoking causes chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
  • World Oral Health Day in March each year, the world unites to help reduce the burden of oral diseases. 
  • National Walking Month celebrates the health and happiness benefits of walking. 
  • Mental Health Awareness Week is the ideal time for us to talk about mental health, tackle stigma and find out how we can prevent mental health problems as a society. 
  • Child Safety Week is the Child Accident Prevention Trust's annual community education campaign which aims to start thousands of safety conversations and activities worldwide. 
  • Men’s Health Week raises awareness of men's health and how to avoid health complications. 
  • Holiday Health is a series of summer videos that are shared on Northumberland County Council's social media channels.
  • Know your Numbers- raises awareness of high Blood pressure and encourages UK adults to get a blood pressure check. 
  • Sexual Health Awareness Week raises awareness of contraception, testing and treatment. 
  • Stoptober is an annual campaign run every October to encourage people to stop smoking. 
  • HIV Testing Week calls on people to get tested and know their status.
  • World AIDS Day takes place on 1 December each year and is the opportunity for people to unite in the fight against HIV.
