We maintain our pay and display machines regularly, but technical issues are sometimes unavoidable. If you’re parking where a ticket machine isn’t working, follow these steps:
- Check for other ticket machines in the parking area and buy a pay and display ticket.
- Call 0345 600 6400 to report the fault - if you can, with the fault description, location and ticket machine number.
- There are other ways to pay, therefore if you are unable to buy a ticket from a ticket machine you can use the PayByPhone service. Information for this service is displayed on ticket machines and throughout the car park.
You can access paybyphone by
- Visiting the Pay by Phone website or phone 0330 400 7275
- Or downloading the PayByPhone app on your mobile phone
Please ensure you quote the correct location number which will be displayed on the ticket machine and your vehicle registration number
You may still receive a penalty charge notice (PCN), sometimes called a parking ticket but following these steps will help prevent this.
