As part of the ongoing Bedlington Active Travel Corridor works, Northumberland County Council will be carrying out resurfacing works at B1331, Bedlington from Longmeadows Roundabout to Alnwick Drive and installing a raised pedestrian crossing at Alnwick Drive. This will be carried out under nightshift working from 12th May 2025 for two consecutive nights. Works will be carried out under a full road closure. Emergency access will be available at all times; Traffic management operatives will be on site to assist with access and egress.12th May 2025 - Carriageway resurfacing and road markings from Longmeadows roundabout to Alnwick Drive roundabout, working from 20:00 - 06:00.13th May 2025 - Installation of raised table at Alnwick Drive working from 22:00 - 06:00.
