My Northumberland Account is our secure online service to go paper-free with your Council Tax bills and keep up to date on local news and jobs.

Important update

2:30pm on Wednesday 12 March: we are currently carrying out essential maintenance on our My Account system. We are working hard to minimise this downtime and apologise for any inconvenience caused. 

Services available

At the click of a button anytime or anywhere, you can:

  • switch to paperless Council Tax billing
  • get our latest job updates and news that matters to you in one email every Friday, tailored for you and easy to opt out

We'll be adding new services over the next few months and will email account holders as they become available. Our online Planning Portal  is not part of My Northumberland Account.

Your Questions Answered

Can I view my old Council tax bills? 
Annual bills for the last two years are currently available.

I have moved house, or my circumstances have changed. 
Please fill in the change of circumstances form, you won't need to register again once we update your details, your new bills will appear. 

Will this affect my payments? 
No this is only to view bills, you still pay your Council Tax as you normally do. 

Will I be notified when a new bill comes out? 
Yes, we'll send you an email to let you know when a new bill arrives.
