Based on the most recent weather forecast we plan to carry out gritting from 4:00pm on Tuesday 28th January 2025 on the following routes: Allendale, Alnwick 4, Bearl 4, Haltwhistle 1, Otterburn 1, Otterburn 2 and Rothbury. Then from 04:00am on Wednesday 29th January 2025 on the following routes: Allendale, Alnwick 4, Bearl 4, Haltwhistle 1, Otterburn 1, Otterburn 2 and Rothbury. It will generally be dry although one or two isolated showers cannot be ruled out locally. Turning cloudier once again tomorrow morning with a possibility of some light rain briefly. These conditions will persist into the afternoon, but skies will clear in the evening.
