Motorhome parking
Motorhomes can park in some of our car parks. However, indoor cooking and overnight sleeping are only permitted in the car parks listed below.
Amble Braid Car Park, Amble
- bays 1, 2 and 3 are bookable for overnight stays

- bays 1, 2, 3 and 4 are bookable for overnight stays

Northumberland Country Parks
The car parks in Northumberland Country Parks are also suitable for parking large vehicles and motor homes.
These car parks are not bookable using the Motorhome booking system.
Druridge Bay has a dedicated campsite where you can book to stay in your motorhome.
Important information
- a permit costs £12
- overnight stays are for one night only, you cannot book for more than one night
- operating hours are from 6pm to 8am
- permits can only be purchased online
- only the bays listed in the locations above are available for this type of booking
- motorhomes must be parked in the bay they have booked
- normal terms and conditions apply to the car park outside of the booking hours (If you wish to stay after 8am, you must pay the appropriate parking charges for the car park)
- sleeping in any type of vehicle is not allowed elsewhere in the car park or in any other council car park
- vehicles found not following these rules may be subject to a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN)
- users parked in any other off-street council car park found staying overnight to sleep, cook or camp will be subject to enforcement
- vehicles must be self-contained, with a toilet, sink and waste storage facilities on board
