Music Groups, Ensembles & Workshops

Read on to find all the information you need to enrol your child in one of our County Music Ensembles

Why Join a Music Ensemble?

Being part of a music ensemble offers children so much more than learning to play an instrument. It nurtures confidence, encourages teamwork, sparks creativity, and above all—it's fun! With a wide variety of groups to choose from, there's something for every young musician, whatever their experience level.

Playing together helps children develop their musical skills more quickly, stay motivated, and experience the joy of making music as a team. It's a truly rewarding journey that supports not only their musical growth but their personal development too.

What is an ensemble?

The word 'ensemble' is the French word meaning 'together'. Our ensembles are where our pupils from all over the County come together to play & sing wonderful music with their peers in one of our fantastic groups detailed below.
