If we don't have a  record at our register offices, we will try to advise which county may hold the entry.

Some marriage registers may not have been completed. Usually ones by used by the Church of England, or other places of worship. These registers will remain at the church. In these cases, we can supply the name and address of the person who holds the marriage entry.

Please make sure the birth, death, marriage or civil partnership you are researching has taken place in Northumberland since 1837.
