Community worker parking permits

If you work 'on call' for an organisation that provides emergency or urgent care, you can apply for a permit.

Permit cost and how long it lasts

Permits cost £30.

They are valid for 2 years. They can only be used in the vehicle that has applied for the permit.

An applicant can only get one permit.

Application process

  • download and complete the community worker parking permit application form (PDF)
  • gather the supporting evidence listed in the application form
  • post the completed application form and a cheque for £30 to: 
    Parking services 
    Northumberland County Council 
    County Hall 
    Morpeth 
    NE61 2EF
  • alternatively, return the form in person to one of our Customer Information Centres, you can pay by debit/credit card or cheque (made payable to Northumberland County Council)

Applications will then be processed in 10 days providing you have included the necessary documentation.
