The quickest way to apply for your badge is by applying online here

If you prefer, you could download an application form and guidance notes 

• Email the completed application to blue.badges@northumberland.gov.uk 

• Send to:

What happens next?

• If successful, a member of the Blue Badge Team will telephone you to request payment. 
• The badge costs £10. 
• The quickest way to make payment is to make payment through Call Secure.  We will send a secure link to the email and mobile phone provided to enable you to make the £10.00 payment. This call will be from a withheld number. Only open the link when you are ready to make the payment otherwise the link may not work. 
• Once payment has been made we will order your Blue Badge.        
• Or, you can call our Customer Service Team to make the £10 payment on 0345 600 6400.

Please note: applications can take between 25 to 30 working days to process and could take longer during peak times.
