Due to logistical issues, Hexham Household Waste Recovery Center can't accept both household and car batteries until Tuesday 21st January. The nearest sites still accepting batteries are Prudhoe(West Wylam), Haltwhistle and Allendale (FRIDAY-MONDAY).
